Possibilities of accommodation

Rjukan Senior High School has an agreement with Rjukanlys Ltd concerning accommodation in bed-sitters at Rjukan Gjestehus. The building has been adapted to the needs of pupils who must live away from home. We suggest, therefore, that all pupils under 18 live at the Gjestehus, which allows a reasonable amount of freedom. It costs no more than 2500 a month to live at Rjukan Gestehus.

At the Gjestehus, besides your own bed-sitter, there are common areas, which consist of a lounge with a TV and video player, an activity room with billiards and table tennis and a washroom with a washing machine and dryer. You are also allowed the use of the common kitchen and freezer. It is a short distance from the Gjestehus to the school (500 metres) and to Rjukan Alpin training facilities etc. We have better possibilities of supervision and all-round help if pupils live at the guest house. There are also good possibilities of obtaining private accommodation, at reasonable prices, near the centre of the town.

Rjukan Gjestehus: It would be difficult to find a quieter and more central situation than this.
